Bangalore: Jan. 10: Mr. Munish Maudgil, Special Commissioner of Revenue said that 830 non-residential buildings with highest property tax arrears under the jurisdiction of BBMP have been sealed. Property tax should be collected expeditiously from the delinquent property tax defaulters in the 8 zones of the corporation. Among these, action is being taken to collect the arrears of property tax by sealing the non-residential buildings with high arrears in the respective zones. Accordingly, in all reformation cases, the assets are to be recovered using attachment, forfeiture and foreclosure sale.
