West Bengaluru Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dr. Rajendra K.V. instructed the officials to develop the traffic island at Yeshwantpur Junction.

While inspecting various problems on a two-wheeler from Makeri Circle under the jurisdiction of Bengaluru West Municipal Corporation to Manjunath Metro Station, he said, Instructions were given to paint the Yeshwantpur flyover, install lights and beautify the surrounding area.

Improve medians:Noticing that the medians in the middle of the road are not being maintained, he instructed to clean, improve and beautify all medians.

Bus Stop Improvement:He instructed to renovate and properly maintain the roadside bus stops where buses have been constructed for the convenience of the common people

Clear black spots:All garbage dumping areas (black spots) including roadsides, sidewalks, and vacant lots should be identified and cleared immediately. He then instructed to strictly monitor the area to ensure that no black spots occur again.

Drainage in drains:Noticing that the drains near the Kia showroom were not being drained, instructions were given to carry out complete drainage works in all drains/canals including the surrounding area.

Clear footpath encroachments-Unauthorized encroachments on all footpaths should be cleared for safe movement of citizens. Instructions were given to monitor the situation to ensure that no encroachments occur again.

Speed ​​up road widening works:He inspected the road widening works near the supermarket near Yeshwanthpur Metro and instructed to expedite the completion of the work and facilitate smooth movement of vehicles.

During the inspection, much attention was paid to road conditions, potholes, condition of medians, black spots, sidewalk encroachment, and overall cleanliness. Additional Commissioner Digvijay Bodke, Chief Engineer Swayamprabha, Executive Engineer and other officials were present on the occasion.
