Bengaluru, March 04:
The Chief Commissioner of the Greater Bengaluru Authority, Maheshwar Rao, will conduct a public grievance meeting tomorrow in the Bengaluru West City Corporation limits after visiting and inspecting various offices.
Public grievance meetings have already been conducted in Bengaluru Central City Corporation and Bengaluru East City Corporation, which fall under the jurisdiction of the Greater Bengaluru Authority, and have received a positive response from citizens. In continuation of this initiative, after visiting various locations and offices in the Bengaluru West City Corporation tomorrow, the public grievance meeting will be held at the IPP Office Hall in Malleswaram from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
Similarly, grievance meetings will also be held in the remaining two city corporations — on March 10 in the North City Corporation and on March 12 in the South City Corporation — where public complaints and petitions will be received directly and appropriate action will be taken to resolve local issues.
During these meetings, citizens’ grievances related to infrastructure, roads, sanitation, maintenance of streetlights, drainage and other civic issues will be heard directly. Concerned officials will be instructed to take immediate action to resolve the issues.
During the public grievance meeting, the Commissioner of the City Corporation, Additional Commissioners for Development and Revenue, Joint Commissioners, heads of various departments and other officials will be present.
Citizens of the Bengaluru West City Corporation, associations, organizations and Resident Welfare Associations are requested to attend the public grievance meeting with their complaints and petitions. They are encouraged to make use of this opportunity to seek solutions to their issues.
