‘Advantage Assam-2.0 Conference’ in Guwahati on February 25 and 26: Ashok Singhal,Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Irrigation of Assam

Ashok Singhal, Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Irrigation of Assam said that ‘Advantage Assam-2.0’ Summit-2025 was organized in Guwahati, Assam on February 25 and 26 to promote investment and infrastructure in Assam.

Addressing a ‘road show’ and preliminary meeting organized in this regard at a private hotel in the city today, he said that ‘Advantage Assam – 2.0’ organized by the Government of Assam and the Assam Industrial Development Corporation will focus on semiconductor, electronics, defence, renewable energy, technology and He said that there are ample opportunities for investment in areas like mobility and fragrances and flavors and companies should utilize this to make Assam a developing state.

Assam is the largest state in the northeast of India. Burma, Bhutan, Myanmar, other states are very easily reachable from Assam within 3 hours. He said that there are ample opportunities for future investment in this state and Karnataka should also join hands in this.

Compared to the last 30 years, the state has seen a lot of growth. like agriculture, health, horticulture, tourism etc Assam is showing growth in the fields Leading in production of renewable energy, silk, tea etc. He said that comprehensive development should also be done to provide employment opportunities to the people here. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the ‘Advantage Assam-2.0’ Investment and Infrastructure Development Summit-2025 to be held in Guwahati on February 25 and 26. Around 8000 artists will participate in the special folk dance ‘Jumar Nritya’. He requested the cooperation of all to make this conference a success.

Ullas Kamat, president of Karnataka FICCI, who participated in the program virtually, spoke about the development of tourism in Assam. There is a chance. Kaziranga National Park, Kamakya Temple etc. attract tourists here. Companies should come forward to invest in this state, he said.
