Bosch launches new measurement technology range: Electrical testing equipment for professionals

Robust products for every electrician’s toolbox-
Five electrical testing devices to measure all common types of electrical current: non-contact voltage tester, voltage tester, digital multimeter, clamp meter and fork meter
o Suitable for demanding applications on construction sites thanks to a high protection class (IP54 to IP67), rubber sheathing, and impact resistance
o Simplified handling thanks to an inverted display, magnetic hanger, and Dual Power source
With five electrical test devices, Bosch is offering measurement technology specifically for professionals in the electrical trade for the first time. In the future, they will be able to obtain all the tools they need from a single source – from insulated hand tools, measurement technology, and power tools such as screwdrivers and drills, to special devices such as the new battery-powered hydraulic trio of crimping tool, cable cutter, and punching tool. The new range includes a non-contact voltage tester, a two-pole voltage tester, a clamp meter, a fork meter, and a digital multimeter.
Thanks to their shock-absorbing rubberized housing and high IP certification, the devices are particularly robust and designed for rough working environments on construction sites.

Play it safe with voltage tester and detector
The GVD 1000-17 Professional voltage tester enables professionals to carry out quick non-contact testing, whether they’re checking voltage at a socket or a fuse box. As soon as the non-contact voltage detector approaches an AC source with a voltage of up to 1,000 volts, the device vibrates, beeps, and flashes. The GVD 1000-17 Professional has two modes: one between 90 and 1,000 volts (high mode) and a more sensitive one between 24 and 1,000 volts (low mode). For maximum user protection, the GVD 1000-17 Professional checks its functionality at start-up and continuously in the background. The IP67 protection class guarantees protection against dust and water, while the belt clip and integrated flashlight make it easy to work with.
The GVT 1000-15 Professional voltage tester measures AC and DC voltage and indicates voltages of up to 1,000 volts using visual and acoustic signals as well as vibration feedback. The absence of voltage can also be reliably tested with the two-pole measurement. The 125-centimeter-long cable makes it possible to work in larger switch cabinets. The integrated self-test function checks the functionality of the device and thus contributes to improved user protection. If the handpieces are plugged together, the GVT 1000-15 Professional can also be used with one hand. The voltage tester has a flashlight, is dustproof and protected against jets of water with protection class IP65.
Precise testing and fault analysis with True RMS current clamps
With the GFM 1000-15 Professional and GMC 600-15 Professional clamp meters, professionals can measure electrical variables such as alternating current, voltage, and resistance in detail. Both current clamp meters have inverted LCD displays with large, white lettering on a black background, which is easy to read even in dark surroundings. Thanks to the Dual Power function, the devices can be operated with both standard AA batteries and the optional lithium-ion battery BA 3.7V 1.0Ah A, which can be recharged via USB-C® cable. The devices with IP54 certification have passed a drop test from a height of two meters and are dustproof and splash-proof.
The enclosed GMC 600-15 Professional measuring clamp measures alternating current up to 600 amps and – using the supplied measuring leads – voltages up to 600 volts (AC/DC) and resistances up to 40 megohms. The GFM 1000-15 Professional clamp meter measures alternating current up to 200 amps, voltages up to 1000 volts, (AC/DC) and resistances up to 60 megaohms. With its open clamps, it is suitable for working in confined areas, such as densely wired switch cabinets. The built-in flashlight and the non-contact voltage test are especially practical features. The magnetic hanger MH 1 Professional, which is also compatible with the GDM 600-15 Professional and the GMC 600-15 Professional, is available separately.
Precise measurements down to the finest detail with the multimeter
The GDM 600-15 Professional digital multimeter offers the most comprehensive measurement functions. It measures voltages up to 600 volts, AC and DC currents up to 10 amps, resistances up to 40 megohms, and other measuring parameters such as frequency, capacitance, millivolts (AC/DC), and continuity. The multimeter can be set up with the non-slip stand or attached to magnetic surfaces with the separately available MH 1 Professional magnetic hanger. Just like the current clamps, the multimeter has an inverted LCD display and a Dual Power function. The device has passed a drop test from a height of two meters, is certified to protection class IP65, and is therefore dustproof and protected against jets of water.
The measuring devices will be available from May 2025. All prices are recommended retail prices and do not include VAT. The Bosch measurement technology portfolio for electricians is being gradually expanded.
