The beloved hospitality brand brings voter registration events to Austin that inspire civic engagement, in collaboration with MOVE Texas
[Chicago, IL – August 11, 2026] – Bunkhouse Hotels has announced the launch of Vote Y’all, a civic engagement campaign encouraging Texans to register to vote ahead of the October 2026 voter registration deadline. Beginning in August, the initiative will bring voter registration opportunities to Austin Motel and Carpenter Hotel, alongside a social media campaign across Bunkhouse Hotels’ channels, limited edition “Vote Y’all” retail benefitting MOVE Texas’s voter registration work, and three “Vote Y’all” billboards throughout Austin to inspire civic participation.
Bunkhouse Hotels have long created gathering places that serve both travelers and the communities surrounding its properties. Vote Y’all builds upon that commitment by making voter registration available in an approachable, welcoming, and familiar neighborhood setting. The campaign is presented in collaboration with MOVE Texas, a nonpartisan nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing Texans together and encouraging them to register to vote leading up to the general election.

On Saturdays throughout August and September, guests and community members can visit Austin Motel and Carpenter Hotel between noon and 4:00 p.m. to register to vote. Custom Vote Y’all retail items including t-shirts, totes, and more will also be available for purchase. Bunkhouse Hotels will donate to MOVE Texas’s voter registration efforts 25% of the price of participating sold from August 8, 2026, until December 31, 2026, while supplies last.
