Bengaluru: Mar. 04: The "Unauthorized OFC Removal Drive—March 2025" has been set up by the BBMP in its limit, and the removal process has begun. The Chief Commissioner has issued a circular regarding the removal of OFCs installed illegally from 3rd March 2025 in the BBMP limit. Accordingly, OFCs installed illegally on the roads within the ward limits of all 8 zones of the city have to be removed, and the entire responsibility for this has been given to the Assistant Engineers (AE) and Junior Engineers (JE) of the wards.
