Intensive Mass Cleanliness Drive Conducted Across Central City Corporation Limits
Pothole Filling Works Accelerated
Mass Cleanliness Drive:
Rajendra Cholan, Commissioner of Bengaluru Central City Corporation, inspected various locations on a two-wheeler to review issues such as potholes, waste management, and pedestrian pathways. Acting upon his strict instructions, mass cleanliness drives were carried out over the past three days across several areas including Residency Road, Chickpet, V.V. Puram, Lalbagh Main Road, Gandhinagar, Shantinagar, New Tharagupet 2nd Main Road, Richmond Road, and Lavelle Road. The Commissioner stated that steps have been taken to transform these wards into block spot-free wards through systematic cleanliness efforts.

Road Works:
In several parts of the Central City Corporation limits, pothole-filling works have gained momentum. Over the past three days, potholes were repaired and patchwork was undertaken at various locations including 3rd Cross and 5th Main Road in Chamarajpet, near Sirsi Flyover, Bull Temple Road, Kalasipalyam, Cottonpet Bhinnamangala Main Road, and Halasuru. These efforts have helped facilitate smoother movement for the public.
Footpath Repairs:
Damaged pedestrian walkways at various locations including Residency Road, Richmond Road, and parts of Chickpet were repaired, ensuring safe and easy movement for pedestrians.
