Cheval Collection’s ESG Progress: Elevating from Bronze to Silver Across All Properties

All India, 16 July 2025 – Cheval Collection, the award‑winning luxury serviced-apartment operator, has announced a significant sustainability milestone: all of its London and Dubai residences have achieved silver certification under the internationally recognized Green Tourism program.

Building on last year’s achievement—where every property earned Bronze—Cheval has rapidly developed its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments, reflecting its dedication to responsible hospitality.

The company has addressed single-use plastics, adopted grey‑water systems, modernized heating and lighting, and introduced electric‑vehicle chargers across its portfolio.

Cheval’s ESG strategy, as outlined on its official Sustainability page, focuses on five core areas majorly – Waste Reduction and Operational Efficiency, Carbon-emissions control through renewable energy procurement, Optimized energy consumption via building‑management systems (BMS), Promotion of recycling across the supply chain and enhanced well-being for guests and staff.

Cheval Collection manages over 800 high-end serviced apartments in London and Dubai—and is rapidly expanding into new markets like Saudi Arabia in 2027 with Cheval Ladun Living in Riyadh. As a pioneer among serviced‑apartment brands, Cheval remains the first European operator to join the Global Hotel Alliance’s loyalty program, GHA DISCOVERY, enhancing its global branding aligned with sustainable practices. By uniting sustainability and comfort, Cheval showcases that environmental stewardship is compatible with, and enhances, guest satisfaction.

The Silver certification serves as external validation of Cheval’s advanced ESG initiatives. In parallel, Cheval’s alliance with GHA DISCOVERY (with over 30 million members globally), boosts guest loyalty and encourages sustainable travel.

Cheval Collection is committed to evolving its roadmap into gold certification in the coming years.
