Conduct Mass Cleaning Drives – Make the City Clean: Rajendra Cholan

During an inspection visit, Bengaluru Central City Corporation Commissioner Rajendra Cholan observed that in several areas, garbage had been left uncleared, construction debris was dumped on roads and footpaths, and unusable materials were scattered across streets. He instructed the officials to conduct mass cleaning drives to make the city clean. Following the Commissioner’s directives, officials within the limits of the Bengaluru Central City Corporation are carrying out mass cleaning programs, clearing accumulated garbage and cleaning up roadside parks.

Cleanliness Drive on SJP Road and NR Road:

On SJP Road and NR Road, under the leadership of Chief Engineer Vijaykumar Haridas, Executive Engineers and Assistant Executive Engineers conducted cleaning operations.

Cleanliness on Residency Road and Commissionerate Road:Garbage, unusable items, and wooden logs dumped along the sides and corners of Residency Road and Commissionerate Road were removed.

Cleanliness Drive on Chinmaya Hospital Road:On the road adjacent to Chinmaya Mission Hospital in Indiranagar, garbage and waste along the roadside, as well as cleaning of side drains, were carried out.

Health Checkup for Women: A health check-up camp for women and children was organized in New Tippasandra, where 115 women were examined, provided with necessary treatment and medicines, and steps were taken to improve women’s health.
