Request to Submit Claims and Objections Regarding the Revised Draft Voters’ List: Rajendra Cholan
Speaking at a meeting held at the Commissioner’s Office Hall on M.G. Road of the Bengaluru Central City Corporation regarding the general elections, with representatives of various political parties and officials present, the Additional District Election Officer (Central) and Commissioner of Bengaluru Central City Corporation, Rajendra Cholan, requested the public to submit claims and objections related to the publication of the revised draft voters’ list to the offices of the Electoral Registration Officers and Revenue Officers concerned within their respective constituencies.
With regard to the Greater Bengaluru Authority – Bengaluru Central City Corporation General Elections-2026, the draft voters’ list had already been published on 19-01-2026. The revision process of the draft voters’ list is currently underway, and the revised draft voters’ list related to Bengaluru Central City Corporation will be published on 09-03-2026, informed Commissioner and Additional District Election Officer Rajendra Cholan.
If there are any discrepancies in the revised draft voters’ list, claims and objections can be submitted between 10-03-2026 and 16-03-2026. Voters within the jurisdiction of the Bengaluru Central City Corporation are requested to make use of this opportunity, appealed the Additional District Election Officer and Commissioner of Bengaluru Central City Corporation.
If members of the same family are placed in different polling stations or different wards, if voter details have been interchanged, or if voters residing geographically in one ward are included in another ward’s polling station in the revised draft voters’ list, claims and objections may be submitted to the Electoral Registration Officers or Assistant Electoral Registration Officers of the following Assembly constituencies: 161-C.V. Raman Nagar, 162-Shivajinagar, 163-Shanthinagar, 164-Gandhinagar, 168-Chamarajpet, and 169-Chickpet, covering the new 63 wards, informed Additional District Election Officer and Commissioner Rajendra Cholan.
