Close down hostels operating in violation of guidelines: Lokhande Snehal Sudhakar

Additional Commissioner (Development) of Bengaluru East City Corporation, Lokhande Snehal Sudhakar, chaired a review meeting today to assess the progress of the Health Department. The meeting covered key areas including national health programmes, birth and death registration, Indira Canteens, hostels, food safety and quality, and trade licensing.
National Health Programmes:
The Additional Commissioner reviewed the implementation of health programmes under the corporation’s limits and instructed officials to:
* Conduct larval surveys and conduct “Dry Days” regularly as a preventive measure against dengue.
* Collect monthly reports from all hospitals to ensure strict monitoring of tuberculosis control measures.
