Bengaluru, Nov. 20: During a pedestrian inspection conducted from R.K. Hegde Nagar to Bellahalli Checkpoint along Thanisandra Main Road, Bengaluru North City Corporation Commissioner Pommala Sunil Kumar instructed officials to immediately install slabs on footpaths and locations where underground drainage (UGD) works have been completed. In a joint inspection held this morning with BESCOM and BWSSB officials, the Commissioner observed several locations where slabs were either damaged or missing, posing a risk to pedestrian movement. He directed officials to complete slab installation within one week to prevent any untoward incidents.
