Bengaluru, December 5: Commissioner of Bengaluru West City Corporation, Dr. Rajendra K.V., has directed officials to take appropriate measures to prevent human–animal conflict within the city corporation limits. Speaking at a meeting held with animal welfare organizations in the Bengaluru West City Corporation limits, he instructed that, as per the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, the 202 identified stray dogs must be immediately shifted to designated shelters and centres in accordance with regulations. Around 13 animal welfare organizations, three ABC–ARV service providers, and various officials participated in the meeting and offered several suggestions.
