The Chief Commissioner, Maheshwar Rao, has issued strict directions to officials of BESCOM, KPTCL, Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB), and GAIL, stating that any department found cutting roads within the GBA jurisdiction without prior permission will be penalized and criminal cases will be registered.
