Horticulture Dept Launches “Jhenkara” Brand Honey
Bengaluru, November 07 (Karnataka News):
The department of Horticulture has taken initiative to popularize the honey and honey products produced in the State, to provide quality honey to the consumers and to assure better price to the bee keepers. The department has developed the brand name “ಝೇಂಕಾರ” (in Kannada) and Jhenkara (in English), Tagline (ಜೀವನೋಲ್ಲಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಜೇನು - in Kannada), (Honey that keeps you Buzzin’- in English), Logo and Packaging designs and got the approval of Trade mark Registry. The Department of Horticulture, Government of Karnataka posesses ownership of the said brand name and logo.
Presently honey producers and aggregators have opportunities to use the brand name and logo by following the terms and conditions. It is requested to harness this opportunity.
