New lifestyle hotel brings Pacific Northwest-inspired design, local flavor and a connected stay, dining and events experience to Portland International Airport

CHICAGO, IL (November 6, 2026) — The Mindaro, a JdV by Hyatt hotel, is now open, introducing a vibrant new lifestyle experience to Portland. Inspired by the spirit and natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, The Mindaro features 90 spacious guestrooms, each nearly 500 square feet and thoughtfully designed to balance style, comfort and function.

Designed for travelers and locals alike, The Mindaro offers plenty of ways to settle in, recharge and connect. A 24-hour fitness center, room service and complimentary Wi-Fi add comfort and convenience throughout the guest experience.

Located just minutes from Portland International Airport (PDX), The Mindaro combines the personality of an independent boutique hotel with the advantages of The Mindaro Campus, a connected hospitality destination that also includes Hyatt House Portland Airport, The Hollow Café + Bar, Jawfish Restaurant, and The Mindaro Event Center. Together, the hotels, restaurant and event center offer travelers, locals and meeting planners one convenient place to stay, dine, meet and celebrate.
