Commissioner Rajendra Cholan informed that awareness notices have been issued to a total of 574 Paying Guest (PG) accommodations operating within the Bengaluru Central City Corporation limits.
During January 2026, inspections were carried out in all currently operating PG accommodations across the Shantinagar, C.V. Raman Nagar, Gandhinagar, Shivajinagar, Chamarajapete, and Chickpet Assembly constituencies to verify compliance with prescribed guidelines. Following these inspections, awareness notices were issued to 574 PG establishments.
