Chief Commissioner Maheshwar Rao instructed officials to prepare an action plan for the comprehensive development of KR Market and to set a timeline for completion of the works.

During his visit to KR Market under the Bengaluru Central City Corporation limits today, he reviewed the situation along with officials and stated that a detailed action plan should be prepared covering proper waste disposal, installation of CCTV cameras, concreting of internal roads, providing proper connectivity to the flower market, and other development works. He directed officials to submit a report within one week along with a clear timeline for completion of these works.

He also instructed that all necessary locations in KR Market be assessed for installation of CCTV cameras from a safety perspective, and that a report be submitted immediately, followed by swift action to install the cameras.
