Bengaluru, Nov. 20:- Commissioner of Bengaluru Central City Corporation, Rajendra Cholan, has directed officials to take necessary steps for the cleanliness, beautification, and overall development of Halasuru Lake. During his visit and inspection of Halasuru Lake this morning, the Commissioner emphasized that the surroundings of the lake must be kept clean and that wastewater must not be allowed to enter the lake. He instructed officials to convene a meeting with the Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board and other concerned departments to prevent the inflow of sewage into the lake.
