Phone-in Programme by the Commissioner of Bengaluru North City Corporation on October 3, 2025 (Friday)
In order to listen to public grievances and ensure that complaints are directly conveyed to the concerned officials for resolution, Bengaluru North City Corporation Commissioner, Pommla Sunil Kumar, IAS, has initiated a weekly phone-in programme. The programme will be held every Friday for two hours.
This week, on Friday, October 3, 2025, the phone-in session will be conducted at a revised time — from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM to give full attention to citizens’ complaints.
During this time, residents may register complaints related to potholes, streetlight repairs, garbage issues, trimming of dangerous trees/branches, mosquito control, stray dog menace, park maintenance, removal of unauthorized banners/posters, encroachment on footpaths, e-khata related issues, and stormwater drain cleaning.
Each complaint will be recorded in the Sahay 2.0 portal and assigned to the respective officer. Citizens will also receive an SMS confirmation with acknowledgment of the complaint and details of the assigned official.
