Bengaluru, Jan. 16: Central City Corporation Commissioner Rajendra Cholan informed that six Paying Guest (PG) accommodations were sealed for failing to maintain hygiene within the jurisdiction of the Bengaluru Central City Corporation. Acting on the directions of Commissioner Rajendra Cholan, inspections were conducted today under the leadership of Health Officer Dr. shivakumar in the presence of Chickpet and Shivajinagar Medical Officers at 204 Paying Guest accommodation establishments. As a result, six PGs that failed to maintain cleanliness were sealed, and fines totaling ₹1.96 lakh were imposed on PGs found to have deficiencies. During the inspection conducted on 14-11-2025, Commissioner Rajendra Cholan personally visited several buildings and reviewed the property tax details.
