source :GBA-Central City Corporation Bengaluru, Nov. 21: The Commissioner of the Central City Corporation, Rajendra Cholan, stated that a re-assessment and revision survey of commercial buildings on Indiranagar 100-Feet Road was conducted on 14-11-2025, and cause notices have been issued to properties where discrepancies were found. During the inspection conducted on 14-11-2025, Commissioner Rajendra Cholan personally visited several buildings and reviewed the property tax details. A total of more than 120 staff members, including 9 Revenue Officers from all revenue divisions of the Central City Corporation, conducted a property tax re-assessment of 197 properties. The corporation has come to the notice of illegal commercial activities being carried out in residential areas within the jurisdiction of the Bangalore South Municipal Corporation. The Hon'ble High Court in Writ Petition Nos. 3676/2008 and 43472-43474/2011 has issued guidelines restricting commercial activities in residential/semi-residential areas of all sector roads less than 40 feet wide. Hegde Nagar to Bellahalli Checkpoint along Thanisandra Main Road, Bengaluru North City Corporation Commissioner Pommala Sunil Kumar instructed officials to immediately install slabs on footpaths and locations where underground drainage (UGD) works have been completed.
